Start with the moments that create rework: a missing site detail, a changed proposal, an unanswered utility question, or an install handoff without an owner. Give each item a source, a reason, a next action, and a human reviewer.
Use evidence carefully
NREL’s SolarAPP+ evaluation is a useful example of a bounded workflow improving permitting flow while keeping jurisdictional controls in place. It is not evidence that every solar workflow should be automated, or that a workflow tool guarantees sales or installation outcomes.
